The Little Bird Children's Hour is a high energy and interactive show. Featuring Woody Guthrie's songs, originals, and classic children's tunes it is sure to entertain children (and their adults).
Russ Glenn is an Austin based singer/songwriter. A performing musician for over 12 years, and a life-long Woody Guthrie fan, Russ performs a one-hour children’s show using original works, Woody Guthrie’s “Grow Big” songs, and other FUNky favorites from artists like Jack Johnson and The Beatles.
Woody Guthrie’s “Grow Big” songs were written for his own children in the 1940’s and are as much fun today as they were back then!
Russ is an energetic and engaging performer. He has a great rapport with children and uses props and volunteers throughout the show. Children are encouraged to sing along, dance, flop around, bounce, jig, giggle, bark, spin, or just sit back, relax, and enjoy the music.
